This page describes how CapRateCity handles advertising, sponsored placements, display ads, and partner promotions. The goal is to keep advertising clearly separated from editorial content and data.
Sponsored placements should be reasonably identifiable through labels such as "Sponsored," "Ad," or "Promoted," or by formatting that visually distinguishes them from editorial content. Where a placement is an affiliate link, the rel="sponsored" attribute may also be used.
Editorial rankings, methodology, calculator math, and market data are determined by the underlying datasets and our own published criteria. Advertising and affiliate revenue does not change which cities make "best of" lists, which markets are recommended for which strategy, or how cap rates are computed.
CapRateCity serves display ads through third-party ad networks such as Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies and tracking technologies to deliver and measure ads. We will decline advertising or sponsorship that we believe is misleading, predatory, unlawful, or contrary to the interests of our readers. We reserve the right to remove any placement that we later determine to be inconsistent with this policy.
